The campuses are hot with interview mania. Some candidates are sought after by the companies while the other seeks companies. In all, it is a chasing game. In one such interview a candidate who was a topper and much sought after was made an offer. The discussion then leads to the inevitable… the take home and the CTC, the perquisites, etc.

The candidate puts forth the offers he has received and then says, “I have placed all my cards on the table”. The smart interviewer (some still left in the companies) asks quite nonchalantly “I can understand the cards are on the table but wonder which one are you going to play”.

It is still important to make a choice then only have the choice.
